Prayers and pork being served today.....

I have tried to start a blog in the past, but I never actually used it. I love to write, but most days, it is the last thing I think about doing. Why??? I am a busy mom of 3 kids, all under the age of 5. I feel like a majority of my day is spent on the routine tasks that never go away. I am not complaining, and in fact, I love being a mother. But I have never been good about documenting what we do with our time. I think I am going to try blogging now, because I really want to share with other moms and get some good ideas as well. I also think it would be great to look back at pictures and postings for memories. I mainly want to honor the Lord with my writings and through my transparency. I hope that maybe I can encourage someone else who is just a "regular, not-very-interesting person" just like me, to allow the Lord to do great things in their life. I would love to be an inspiration for someone to step out in faith with a task or idea that might seem impossible according to worldly standards, but pleasing in the eyes of the Lord.

So what is going on in our little kitchen today? Currently, the crockpot is on low, simmering with a Paprika pork recipe. Here it is:

There are sounds of kids playing in the toy room right off of the kitchen. The floor is swept clean for now, but I am sure it will be full of crumbs and dirt in a matter of an hour or two. I am typing at the kitchen table right off of the kitchen. My youngest daughter is napping, with an occasional coughing sound, as she has a cold. Pretty soon, we need to work on a few school lessons, as we ended up having more play time than normal this morning.

I am also in prayer today for a close friend, Rachel. Her sister in law had a baby born at 27 weeks. Would you please pray with me for this sweet little baby boy who was born yesterday? He has survived longer than what the doctors already said, and we are pleading with the Lord for his little life. His name is Henry. Please pray for Henry, his mom and dad and his brother. Pray that the Lord's will would happen and that Henry could have life on this earth. He has amazing parents who desire the ways of the Lord. Thanks for praying with me!!!!
